3. Third-Party Services

Kitchen Crew uses third-party services to generate meal plans and recipes. Your meal preferences and pantry data may be processed by these services to generate results.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Camera and Photo Access

Kitchen Crew may request access to your device's camera and photo library for the following purposes:

• Pantry scanning: you may photograph your fridge, freezer, or pantry shelves so our AI can automatically detect and update your pantry inventory. Photos are sent to our servers solely to perform this analysis and are not stored or used for any other purpose.
• Meal ratings: you may attach a photo to a meal you are rating. The app does not access your camera at any other time.
• Photo library: used only when you choose to select an existing photo for pantry scanning or a meal rating. The app does not browse, scan, or access any other photos on your device.
• Storage: photos you attach to meal ratings are uploaded to our secure servers and associated with your account. They are not shared with third parties or used for advertising.
• Permission: access is never granted automatically — you will always be prompted by your device's operating system before the camera or photo library is accessed. You may revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your personal data is restricted to authorised systems and personnel.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app, which will permanently delete your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
